Parental consent
The Ley Organica 15/1999 de Proteccion de Datos de Caracter Personal (LOPD) requires that you obtain permission from your students' parents or guardians for them to be registered on the website.
On this page you will find model letters you can use to obtain this permission. You should make copies of the letter on headed notepaper from your school and give one to each student. The letter will only require a parent’s signature.
Your should indicate that permission has been obtained for each student by marking the 'Permission' column on the registration form with an “X”. Please do not send the parental consent letters to us but keep them safely as a record.
Macmillan will make no use of the personal details obtained either from teachers or their students during the registration process for the Definitions website other than that required to create user profiles for the site and to give access to its contents.
