March: Celebrating Women’s History and Achievement!

This month marks a celebration of women’s history, achievement and contribution to society. March 8th is also International Women’s Day.

As part of this celebration, we, at Macmillan Education, have selected a range of teaching materials to use with students to raise awareness about some issues women have encountered or continue to face in their struggle for equality and justice.

The materials help students develop vocabulary, grammar and language skills while covering a range of interesting topics such as women in work and the women’s library in London, women in football, women inventors, women in history, inspirational women, etc...
