What are Life Skills?
Life skills (sometimes called ‘soft skills’) are related to our emotional intelligence – our self-awareness and our ability to communicate with others. They’re different from ‘hard skills’, which are related to knowledge and practical skills.
Why are life skills important?
Life skills are important because they enable us to develop, gain confidence and improve our interpersonal relationships.
How can life skills help us learn English?
Life skills are useful both in the classroom and while we’re studying independently. Learning English is not just about passing exams – life skills help us to communicate with others as well as being more effective students!
