Colour Sequences Activity
- Put 3 or 4 different coloured squares in a sequence outside the classroom, in the hall or passage, eg red, blue, yellow, pink.
- Organise the pupils into pairs, each pair having an envelope with a set of coloured squares inside. One pupil goes outside, looks at the sequence, comes back and describes the colour sequence to his/her partner. He/she then looks in their envelope and takes out the correct colours and puts them in the correct sequence, from left to right. The other child can go back outside as many times as he/she likes in order to get the sequence correct.
- Change the colours and sequence outside, and repeat with the other partner going outside. Repeat as many times as you and the pupils want.
